Feedback from recent events include:
"Just wanted to say thank you on behalf of CHTA, really made our conference fizz! Vic gave us a humble, humorous and very real account of his time at Passmores which chimed well with our Headteacher delegates"
"The feedback for Vic was tremendous. He was really good and got the crowd laughing and crying (at the right times and for the right reasons too!) Feedback was along the lines of very practical ideas mixed with some thought provoking (and emotion provoking!) stuff too. Could you please thank Vic for us (I should think that delegates will ask for him again next year)."
"Thank you so much for your excellent contribution to the AET summer leadership conference. Your presentation was universally well received. You already know why I asked you to speak and that set of values, which resonates so strongly with AET’s values and purpose, came through in a powerful way in your presentation. It certainly gave everyone a ‘leadership lift’ and inspired them on their personal journey as well as supporting us as a group in our mission"
"Thank you ever so much for providing an inspirational and truly uplifting keynote at our staff conference. I've had such brilliant feedback from all the staff. We very much hope to see you again soon!"
"Truly inspirational. His understanding of actual teaching, mixed with his video from Taylor Mali was actually stunning and probably the best 30 minutes of any staff conference that I have been to"
23rd April 2018 - When Leadership Really Matters – Education, Leadership and Interesting Times
This one day conference for school leaders everywhere brings together some of the most respected voices in leadership education.
Welcome to Trowell C of E Primary School.
Hello, and welcome to our school’s website. Here at Trowell Church of England Primary we enjoy a lovely semi-rural environment (we even have cows passing through the school grounds daily for milking)! We have a pond, vegetable garden and playground – all used to develop pupils’ learning, play and sporting talents.
In our most recent Ofsted Inspection (July 2013) it was noted that, ‘Pupils are keen to learn and enjoy school. Their behaviour in lessons and around school is exemplary. They work well together and are extremely polite and courteous.’ We are proud of our children and the caring and courteous way that they behave, we are also proud that the values we hold dear are those that prepare our pupils for a successful future.
Our most recent SIAMs report (December 2014) described our school as, ‘ an inspiring and creative learning environment where pupils are proud to belong, feel valued and achieve well. This is because the school strives to be an inclusive, happy and family community, rooted in Christian faith.’
We believe that by working together we can ensure that our children have the support that they need throughout their time at school. The Christian character of our school contributes to the academic achievement, the personal development and the well being of all our learners. We look forward to sharing and celebrating with you the successes and achievements of our children here at Trowell C of E Primary School.
You are very welcome to come and visit us and see for yourself what makes our school so brilliant – our pupils!
